Like the Vitamix 5200, it has simpler, more classic-looking controls, which consist of a speed dial and switches for on/off and pulse mode. This cheaper blender from Vitamixs most recent Propel lineup has a smaller 48oz capacity. However, it is extremely easy to use: Simply turn one dial on the front. We recommend the Vitamix 5200 Professional-Grade Blender. The best mid-range Vitamix blender is the Vitamix Propel 510. And we did find in our testing that this model didn’t deliver the same oomph as other Vitamix blenders when it came to certain tasks, like crushing ice. The blender is smaller and has a lower horsepower (1.2 compared to 2 horsepower in the Explorian Series). Note: This lower price does come with some compromises.
